Agency for sport tourism Hitko Rafting has existed for six years and it is first established agency of the kind on river Neretva. A residence of the agency is in Ban Vir. A place between Boracko lake and Glavaticevo. Besides organizing rafting tours downstream the river, the agency holds a kayak  course center where you can quickly and meeting high standards learn basic skills of paddling downstream a wild river.

In Ban Vir restaurant, you will be surprised by heterogeneous and tasteful food of well known Bosnian cuisine.

The owner of agency is Hadziosmanovic Muhidin - Hitko, a man who has been paddling downstream wild Neretva for 35 years. Paddling is a family tradition, so Hitko's children are also well skilled rafters.

NERETVA

Only one river in Herzegovina didn't disappear underground and it with its affluent streams form one of the most beautiful valleys. That's river Neretva, "Nil" of herzegovina, waterway and, "source of life" for this region. It managed with its power to owercome giants of mountains and reached its overlasting aim-thesea.
The source of river Neretvais beneath mountain Jabuka in Herzegovina, 1000m high above sea-level, and it pours into the sea near Metkovic with its rivermouth's with about 118400 m2. It makes the river one of the biggest affluent rivers of Adriatic sea.
